STYLE DESIGN

Jeep started the all-terrain vehicle revolution 21 years ago with the introduction of the first Cherokee. Since that time, many have tried to imitate this pioneer, but none have combined the off-road readiness with the value that defines Cherokee.

The new Cherokee, offers many improvements and refinements on this classic design, including an improved UniFrame construction, where body and frame are integrated into a single unit to provide an exceptionally strong vehicle with a solid ride. Lighter weight than traditional ladder-type frame designs, UniFrame construction contributes to improved acceleration, braking and handling.

The secret to Cherokee’s dual capabilities – both on and off-road – is an all new Jeep-engineered independent front, solid axle rear, 4-link front, 3-link rear suspension combined with an all-new rack and pinion steering system. Cherokee offers improved on-road ride, handling and precise steering control whilst still delivering Jeep’s legendary off-road capability.
